Universal Works Editorial For Drinkwater's Cambridge / by Stephen Hopkins

We recently put together a new set of visuals for the British, blue-collar inspired, workwear brand Universal Works for Drinkwater’s Boutique in Cambridge, MA. Founder and head designer, David Keyte spent fourteen years with British designer Paul Smith, as well as five years at Maharishi. Universal Works blends the inspiration taken from Keyte’s years spent with these two menswear juggernauts. A/W 14 consists of high quality traditional fabrics such as Harris Tweed and Yorkshire lambswool, as well as Lancashire cotton. The collection is an intermix of modern streetwear and classic military inspired garments, with great attention to detail.

Some of our favorite pieces from the collection were the charcoal Quilted Labor jacket, the single-vented indigo Bakers jacket, and the olive Aston pant.

Universal Works A/W 14 can be purchased at Drinkwater's Cambridge.

Or directly through the brand's e-shop.
