part/WHOLE is a Boston based clothing brand owned by Co-Founder of Metropolitan Society, Stephen Hopkins. This Ad Campaign placed an emphasis on the ideas of ergonomics and movement of the human body, as well as contorting the model to make visuals that blur the line between a body part and an abstract form.

part/WHOLE 'Abstract Realism' Look Book by Metropolitan Society

part/WHOLE is a Boston based clothing brand owned by Co-Founder of Metropolitan Society, Stephen Hopkins. The Abstract Realism collection "explores imagery and symbolism that stems from Baroque and Renaissance artwork but can be applied to contemporary contexts and materials. For example, the realistic quality and textures of garments and drapery in old master works juxtaposed with the material qualities of translucent plastic sheeting. A specific example of this is depicted in the "Veil" hoodie shown on the second image. This collection is an attempt at drawing lines that stretch from these old art movements and applying them to a contemporary context."
